Generational Curses

This article explores generational curses in scripture, particularly the curse on Adam’s descendants, which resulted from his sin. When Adam sinned, that action caused the curse of sin and death on all his descendants. They would all have to experience the second death (eternal separation from Elohim) for their sins. Also, from that point forward, he and Eve (Chava in Hebrew) had the knowledge of evil in their reasoning. They would have to decide what was right and what was wrong.

Adam was not deceived. 1 Timothy 2:14:And Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, fell into transgression.” When Adam knowingly transgressed the commandment of Elohim, he and all his descendants fell into the kingdom of sin and rebellion which satan (Hebrew meaning is adversary) leads. This is the first time we see a generational curse in the Scriptures. Adam was told two things to do when put in the garden: guard and keep it. He was not guarding it or covering his wife. He allowed the serpent to enter, and he allowed the serpent to deceive his wife with a lie. This created the need for a second and final Adam, who would guard and keep his wife. Notice here in the Aaronic blessing in Numbers Chapter 6 as follows.

Num 6:23  “Speak to Aharon and his sons, saying, ‘This is how you bless the children of Yisrael. Say to them:

Num 6:24 “YHWH’ bless you and guard you;

Num 6:25 “YHWH’ make His face shine upon you, and show favor (grace)to you;

Num 6:26 “YHWH’ lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” ’

Num 6:27  “Thus they shall put My Name on the children of Yisrael, and I Myself shall bless them.”

Remember that Yahushua is coming in His Father’s name, YHWH, which He gave to Him (John 17:12-Matthew 23:39). This blessing Aaron is placing on all the sons of Israel is saying while  YHWH’s face is shining upon them is He will bless (keep) you and guard you in the time of favor (grace) which we are in now. This is the second Adam doing what the first Adam did not do. The favor is because of deception. Then He will lift His face (countenance) upon you and give you peace, Shalom. Shalom is used for hello, goodbye, and peace, but the root meaning is complete. When the knowledge of evil is removed from the descendants of Adam, they will be complete, which is in the image and likeness of Elohim (the Father and Son-Genesis 1:26). The second part of the blessing is speaking of the millennial Kingdom when Yahushua, who comes in His Fathers name, rules and reigns for a thousand years.

The curse must be removed for us to be complete.

The curse placed on Adam and Eve (Chava in Hebrew) has not been entirely removed by Yahushua’s death, burial, and resurrection. We will no longer die for Adam’s sin. Adam’s descendants are promised eternal life if we believe Yahushua is the Son of Elohim and follow in obedience to his words (John 3:36) to the Torah of our Father in Heaven (the Hebrew meaning of Torah is teachings). But we are not yet delivered from the evil in our hearts. Evil continually plants lies in our minds to cause us to sin. Paul does an excellent job of explaining how this works in us in Romans 7:7-25 (with special attention on verse 24). In this context, the Hebrew understanding of the heart is not what pumps our blood. It is the core of our being where our reasoning is processed. The propensity for sin compromises our reasoning. Paul says that it is by the Torah that we recognize sin (Romans 5:13 & 7:7). Paul asks three times to have that thorn removed, and the response is in 2 Corinthians 12:9: “My favor is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” The thorn was the sin that dwelt in him (Romans 7:7-20). The most important thing to recognize is that Paul is saying that when he does that which he wishes not to do, it is not him doing it but the sin that dwells in him. If he wishes to do it, he is doing the sin, if he does not wish to do it he has been deceived and allowed evil to manifest in his temple (1 Corinthians 6:19).

As said above, the knowledge of evil entered Adam and Eve when they ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

How did this tree come about?

There is a Torah command that you do not plant diverse seeds in the same field or vineyard (read Leviticus 19:19 & Deuteronomy 22:9). You are not to cross animals of diverse kinds. Doing this creates something different or diverse from the perfect creation of our Father in Heaven through His first-born Son.

Malaki 3:6 says, “…For I am YHWH, I shall not change.Hebrews 6:18 says, “…so that by two unchangeable matters in which it is impossible for Elohim to lie,James 1:17 says… “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning.” By the mouth of two to three witnesses, a matter is established (2 Corinthians 13:1, Numbers 35:30, Deuteronomy 17:6, Matthew 18:16, and Hebrews 10:28). The preceding three witnesses prove that any rule Elohim makes is the same as yesterday today, and until the end of the age.

Elohim created every tree that was pleasant to the sight and good for food (Genesis 2:9). Eve observed that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was pleasant to the sight and good for food. From this observation, she knew Elohim had planted the tree. If this is the case, there was no seed of the knowledge of evil in the fruit of the tree, or Elohim would be violating His own law by creating a fruit with diverse seeds. There are many opinions about how this would work. One opinion is that there was only one seed in the fruit containing both knowledge of good and evil. I do not believe this because the one seed would have diverse understandings in it. The Jewish understanding today is that the transgression of the command not to eat the fruit of the tree caused the knowledge of evil to enter Adam and Eve. I agree with this Jewish understanding. The seed the serpent planted was the lie, Genesis 3:4: “…You surely will not die.

Something we can see in Matthew 13:25 gives us some information on how seeds work in the descendants of Adam. “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel (tares) among the wheat and went away.

When the serpent told Eve that she would certainly not die if she ate the fruit, he planted his seed, the lie. This caused her to use human rationalization and logic against the literal command not to eat the fruit of this one particular tree. Knowing Elohim planted the tree because she observed it was good for food and pleasant to look at, she rationalized that the fruit of the tree was good for food, pleasant to the eyes, and desirable to make one wise. Then she took off of its fruit and ate.

When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, they immediately knew evil. In Genesis 3:5, as said above, the serpent (nachash in Hebrew) told Eve, “For Elohim knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes shall be opened, and you will be like Elohim, knowing good and evil.” That is precisely what happened, but the result was not what she hoped for. Notice how satan coaxed Eve into rationalizing the command to abstain from eating the fruit of this one tree.

As said above, Adam’s disobedience to Elohim’s command created a generational curse on all his descendants. The curse was that you would die if you knowingly disobeyed a command from Elohim. From Adam’s sin forward, all his descendants would have evil in their reasoning. We were not created to know evil.

We cannot rationalize against obedience to commands from the Father and Son. They are literal and understandable (Deuteronomy 30:11).

The seed parables

Yahushua made a statement that is especially important when he explained the first parable of the seeds in Mark Chapter 4, as follows.

Mark 4:13: And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then shall you understand all the parables?”

The seed parables are crucial to understanding all the parables. Two seeds (inclinations) dwell in our reasoning and are vying for control.

In Matthew Chapter 13, the last of the seed parables is about the wheat and the darnel.

I am going to show Yahushua’s explanation of this parable because it is vital to connecting prophecies that lead up to YHWH (Yahushua in His Father’s Name) coming out of His place to punish the nations (Isaiah 26:21). Then He will bring both Houses of Israel to the whole land promised to Abraham. Then, the two houses of Israel will become one nation in the land promised to Abraham (Ezekiel chapters 37-39).

Matthew 13:36Having sent the crowds away, Yahushua entered the house. And His taught ones came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel of the field.”

Matthew 13:37: And He, answering, said to them, “He who is sowing the good seed is the Son of Adam,

Matthew 13:38: and the field is the world. And the good seed (Mark 4:14 “The Sower sows the Word), these are the sons of the reign, but the darnel are the sons of the wicked one,

Matthew 13:39: and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. And the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the messengers (angels)Remember that this is the wheat harvest, which begins just before Shavuot.

Matthew 13:40: As the darnel is gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be at the end of this age.

Matthew 13:41: The Son of Adam shall send out His messengers, and they shall gather out of His reign all the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness (Zephaniah 1:3).

Matthew 13:42: and shall throw them into the furnace of fire – there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:43: Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the reign of their Father (Daniel 12:3). He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

We learned from the first seed parable that the seed is the Word. Those who have believed the lies of satan that they do not have to be obedient to the commands of Elohim do not have light. As the last seed parable says, the enemy plants his seed in darkness. These people are the darnel, and those who are obedient to the Word planted in their reasoning are the children of the reign, who are gathered and placed in Yahushua’s storage house.

The wheat harvest spoken of in the preceding verses begins, as said, a little before Shavuot to have first fruits in the temple for the wave offering. From the first seed parable, we know that the seed that was sown was the Word (Mark 4:14 & Luke 8:11), and it was planted in men’s hearts (Matthew 13:18-19), which is the core of their being where their reasoning takes place. The first seed parable explains what happens to people when the good seed (the Word) is sown in them. Only those that are fertile ground produce 30, 60, and 100-fold. They are the sons of the reign, the same people who are Yahushua’s wheat in the second parable. I want to clarify now that the Torah is the Truth, and the Truth is all YHWH’s commands. The two witnesses needed to confirm a matter are Psalms 119:42 and 119:52. Yahushua was the Word made flesh (John 1:14).

Scriptural connections & Literary parallels

Now, I want to go through scriptures connected by literary parallels. The purpose is to discover when the remaining part of the curse is removed, as just said because we know Yahushua’s redemption is for all sin, and we still have the evil inclination dwelling in us. Most have not recognized that it was not completed at His first coming. The blindness, in part spoken of in Romans 11:25, is just beginning to be removed.

Connections through literary parallels. Matthew 13:41, as seen above, on page 3, is at the wheat harvest and is a quote from Zephaniah 1:3: “I shall snatch away man and beast, I snatch away the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wrong.” This places the beginning of  Zephaniah chapter 3 at the wheat harvest, Shavuot. All the book of Zephaniah is about the return of Yahushua.

Zephaniah 1:7 is connected to other scriptures by saying, “Hush in the presence of the Master YHWH. For the day of YHWH is near, for YHWH has prepared a slaughter.” This same statement appears in Joel 2:1: “Sound the shofar in Zion, sound the alarm in My set-apart Mountain, let all the inhabitants of the earth tremble for the day of YHWH is coming, for it is near.” Then, in Joel 3:14, for the Day of YHWH is near in the valley of decision. Next is Obadiah 1:15: For the day of YHWH is near upon all the nations.” Obadiah is only one Chapter, and it is all about the destruction of Edom-Esaw. So, we see not only parallels by these same statements in each place but also, in each case, there are those that are being destroyed.

If you read these chapters, it can be seen they are happening together at Shavuot some year just before YHWH comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of Earth for their crookedness (Isa. 26:20-21). This time is the Day of YHWH that we can know. The Day of YHWH is used for different events in the scriptures. So, you must read in context to see which time is being spoken of. In the case of each of the above parallels, contextually, they are about the same time. That time is when YHWH comes out of His place, and His wrath comes on the nations (Isa. 26:20-21) to make them let His people go and punish the nations that have oppressed His people, and then destroy the evil along with those who took the mark of the beast (Revelation 16:2 and the stumbling blocks and those doing lawlessness in Matthew 13:41 and Zeph. 1:3).

Next, there is a parallel between Revelation Chapter 14 and Matthew 13:41, which is Shavuot, the wheat harvest. The whole Earth is being warned and then harvested in Revelation Chapter 14:14-20. That connection is also in Joel Chapter 3. The valley of decision event occurs from wheat to grape harvest, as Revelation Chapter 14 does.

Another connection is between Matthew 13:43, “then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the reign of the Father,” and Daniel Chapter 12:3: “Those who have insight shall shine like the brightness of the expanse, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. This same thing can be seen in Isaian 49:6 (quoted by Paul in Acts 13:47) and Isaiah Chapter 60:1-3.

All these parallels show that the time of Shavuot connects Matthew Chapter 13, Revelation Chapter 14, and Joel Chapters 2 & 3, but we still need to see that they are on the same Shavuot. Even though some of these events closely proceed, Shavuot and others are all the way to the center of Sukkot during the year all these events occur.

Next, there are connections between Daniel 12:6-7 and Revelation 12:14. These connections give the readers much more information concerning the above connections. Daniel gives the time of some of the above events, which plays a large part in determining the Day and Hour of Yahushua’s return to destroy all evil, gather all the righteous of Israel, and bring them back to all the land promised to Abraham.

Daniel 12:6: “And one said to the Man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, how long to the end of these wonders (when would be the end of all that had just been revealed to Daniel).

Daniel 12:7: “And I heard the Man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, and He held up His right hand and His left hand to the heavens and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for an appointed time, appointed times, and a half time. And when they have ended scattering (dividing) the power of the set-apart people, all these shall be completed.”

In Revelation, Chapter 12:14, “And the woman (Judah) was given two wings of a great eagle to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and a half time.”

In Daniel and Revelation, the times given are a moed, moedim, and a half. This would begin with Shavuot, then Yom Teruah, Yom Kippurim, and half of Sukkot. From the last summer feast, Shavuot, to the first feast of the fall feast, Yom Teruah, then Yom Kippur, to the middle of Sukkot. There are only two seasons in the Tanak (called the Old Testament), winter and summer, but in Jubilees and 1 Enoch, there are four seasons. This is precisely the time we see in Revelation 14, Zephaniah 1, Joel 2 & 3, Revelation 12:14, Ovadiyah, and Daniel 12:6-7. For a second witness that Revelation 12:14 and Daniel 12:7-8 are both speaking of the same time, I took the Greek Word used for time, times, and a half in Revelation 12:14 to Daniel 12:6-7 in the Septuagint Greek, and it is the same Greek word in both places, which is the Hebrew word moedim.

This is a lot of information to assimilate quickly, so you may have to read through the above a time or two. I go into much more  detail in the article “The Day and the Hour.” This article shows the overall picture of what is happening from Adam’s sin to the total redemption from the curse caused by Adam’s sin when we are entirely delivered from all sin.

Another parallel in Daniel 12 and Revelation 12 is that Miḵael is standing up, “that great head who is standing over the sons of your people,” and fighting satan and his angels.

For now, what is essential is that satan is cast out of heaven, and our deliverance from Adam’s generational curses is complete, as shown in Revelation Chapter 12 as follows.

Revelation 12:7: And there came to be fighting in the heaven: Mikael and his messengers fought against the dragon. And the dragon and his messengers fought,

Revelation 12:8: but they were not strong enough, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.

Revelation 12:9: And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the devil and satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the Earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.

Revelation 12:10: And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohimb and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down. Footnote: bSee Revelation 11:15 at the seventh trumpet.

Revelation 12:11: They overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to death.

Revelation 12:12: Because of this rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the Earth and the sea because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.

Revelation 12:13: And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the Earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child (Judah)

Revelation 12:14: And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time, times and a half from the presence of the serpent.[the accurate translation is a “moed, moedim and a half…”(Daniel 7:25 & 12:7) as said above.]

Revelation 12:15: And out of his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river after the woman, to cause her to be swept away by the river.

Revelation 12:16: The Earth helped the woman, and it opened its mouth and swallowed up the river that the dragon had spewed out of its mouth.

Revelation 12:17: And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yahushua Messiah.

Deliverance

There was a time given to satan to prove his case against YHWH, and he lost. So, at this point, Now have come the deliverance (removal of the darnel, the knowledge of evil) and the power and the reign of our Elohim and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down.”

This statement makes it evident that this complete deliverance could only occur once the accuser of the brethren was thrown down. I elaborate on the vast importance of this to humanity in an article called “Job” (Eyob in Hebrew). Elohim’s people have not understood their identity but are beginning to understand it. The “Job” article describes how satan operates today in Elohim’s people to hide their identity from them.

Atonement for the sin of Adam is complete.

The following are places where we can see how this works. The first place is in Leviticus 16:11-27. On Yom Kippurim (English meaning Day of Atonements), Aaron was to bring a young Bull to the door of the tent of meeting and slay it there to make atonement for his sins and the sins of his house. Then he sprinkles the blood on the east side and the front of the lid of atonement seven times. Then he shall slay the goat and do as he did with the bull’s blood. These two processes are said to atone for the Mishkon, which dwells among the children of Israel; it protects it from being unclean because of the uncleanliness of Aaron, his house, and all the other children of Israel. Then he goes out and does the same with the alter, putting the blood of both on the horns all around and sprinkling it seven times. Interestingly, he then changes his clothes to his normal clothes, takes the bull and goat outside of camp, and burns them both. Their hides, innards, and dung are all burned. This is the same as the red heifer; only the red heifer’s ashes are mixed with clean water and sprinkled on the men when they return from war. After they have gone through their cleansing, which cleanses their conscience from all the deaths they just experienced, then they can return to camp and function normally (Numbers 31:19).

I have gone through this to show that the Yom Kippurim offerings and the red heifer cleansing are to cleanse their conscience. To remove guilt from their conscience. The Yom Kippurim bull was used to cleanse Aaron’s conscience and atone for the Mishkon. The goat is to do the same (to remove the guilt) from all the children of Israel. The water of the red heifer does the same for the soldiers returning from war. In every case, they can return to society and not be plagued by the memories of death and sins. If Aaron were to enter the Holy of Holies with those thoughts, he would die.

The offerings brought by the people for known sins (that were not sins unto death) would be to get the prescribed offering and then bring the same offering for a guilt offering the next day. Once again, we see that it is to cleanse the conscience and allow them to re-enter society without guilt and unworthiness. What is different about the Yom Kippur offering is it also atones for the Mishkon to protect it from the sins of Aaron and the children of Israel. What sets Yom Kippurim apart from the other cleansings is that it is for all sins, even sins unto death, if they have repented for those sins. When Yahushua took the punishment for the sins of Adam, He took the place of the Yom Kippurim offerings. His death, burial, and resurrection were to replace the Yom Kippurim offerings and the daily sin offerings.

How do we accomplish today’s guilt offering as a Nation of Royal Priest to Our Father in Heaven with Yahushua as our High Priest (Exodus 19:4-6 & 1 Peter 2:9)? We know that our prayers replace the offerings now (Hosea 14:2 & Hebrews 13:15). Also, we can see that innocent blood atones for corrupted blood. When we realize we have allowed the adversary to use us to do his evil, we pray for forgiveness through the innocent blood of Yahushua, but we need to go one step further. We need to come back and pray again the next day through His innocent blood for a guilt offering. Otherwise, we may not receive the supernatural removal of the guilt we feel when we allow evil to manifest in our temples. This guilt brings with it unworthiness, which negates your power over satan. This is satan’s best tool against you. He may have authority to mess with us till he is thrown out of heaven and cannot return to accuse us, but he has no power over us. I suggest you read the article about “Job” mentioned above. In it, I go into great depth to show how satan is working against us today because of a general lack of knowledge of our power over him.

The timing for when Yahushua delivers the righteous of Israel from all sin.

This deliverance from all evil is when the blindness in part that is on all Israel, as shown in the following, is removed, which will be on a Shavuot in the future.

Romans 11:25: For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that hardening (blindness) in part has come over Yisrael until the completeness of the nations has come in. Footnote:  Genesis 48:19 Ephrayim is told he will be the “…fullness (completeness) of the nations…” -the lost sheep

Romans 11:26: And so all Yisrael shall be saved, as it has been written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Tsiyon (Matthew 14), and He shall turn away wickedness from Yaaqob,

Romans 11:27: and this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins.   (Matthew 13:40-43) Isa 59:20-21

Isaiah 56:1 states, “My deliverance is near to come.” This alerts us that this is just before Yahushua’s return. It is a short chapter, but it is essential to understand what will happen just before Yahushua returns to Earth. At the end of Isaiah, Chapter 56 is a warning to His shepherds, which parallels Ezekiel 34, which says Woe to My shepherds. Being a shepherd for Elohim (the Father and Son) is an awesome job but also an extremely dangerous one. Below, I will show some scriptures to read, and then you will understand how He feels about shepherds who lead His flock astray. Also, in Isaiah 56, His shepherds are not being watchmen. Instead, they are doing the opposite by saying everything is fine and tomorrow will be as today, only better.

Jeremiah 2:8: “The priests did not say, ‘Where is YHWH?’ And those who handle the Torah did not know Me, and the shepherds transgressed against Me, and the prophets prophesied by Ba‘al, and walked after matters that did not profit. Footnote: see Jeremiah 10:21, Jeremiah 12:10-11, Jeremiah 50:6-7.

Jeremiah 3:15:“And I shall give you shepherds according to My heart, and they shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Jeremiah 6:3:“The shepherds with their flocks shall come to her, they shall pitch their tents against her all around. They shall pasture, each one in his own place.

Jeremiah 10:21:  For the shepherds have become brutish, and they have not sought YHWH. Therefore they did not understand, and all their flock scattered. dFootnote: dSee Jeremiah 2:8, Jeremiah 12:10-11, Jeremiah 50:6-7, Ezekiel 34:1-23, 2 Timothy 4:3-4, 2 Peter 2:1-22.

Jeremiah 12:10:“Many shepherds have destroyed My vineyard, they have trodden My portion under foot, they have made My pleasant portion become a deserted wilderness. bFootnote: bSee footnote Jeremiah 10:21.

Jeremiah 22:22:“Let all your shepherds be devoured by the wind (Jeremiah 13:13), and your lovers go into captivity. Then you shall be ashamed and humiliated for all your evil.

Jeremiah 23:1:“Woe to the shepherds destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture! declares YHWH. Footnote: aJeremiah 10:21, Jeremiah 50:5-6, Ezekiel 34:1-23, Zec_10:2, Matthew 9:36.

Jeremiah 23:2:  Therefore thus said YHWH Elohim of Yisrael against the shepherds who feed My people, “You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and have not tended them. See, I am punishing you for the evil of your deeds,” declares YHWH.

Jeremiah 23:4: “And I shall raise up shepherds over them, and they shall feed them. bAnd they shall fear no more, nor be discouraged, nor shall they be lacking,” declares YHWH. Footnote: bSee Jeremiah 3:14-17.

Jeremiah 25:34: “Howl, you shepherds, and cry! And roll yourselves in the ashes, you leaders of the flock! For the days of your slaughter and your scatterings are completed, and you shall fall like a choice vessel.

Jeremiah 25:35: “And a place of refuge shall perish from the shepherds, and escape from the leaders of the flock.

Jeremiah 25:36: “Hear the cry of the shepherds, and a wailing of the leaders of the flock, for YHWH is ravaging their pasture!

Jeremiah 33:12: “Thus said YHWH of hosts, ‘In this place which is dried up, without Man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall once again be a home of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

Jeremiah 50:6: “My people have been wandering asheep. Their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill and forgotten their resting place. Footnote: aOr lost, or straying, or perishing.

Ezekiel 34:2: “Son of Man, prophesy against the shepherds of Yisrael, prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus said the Master YHWH to the shepherds, “Woe to the shepherds of Yisrael who have been feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock? Footnote: see Footnote at Jeremiah 10:21.

Ezekiel 34:7:  Therefore, you shepherds, hear the Word of YHWH:

Ezekiel 34:8: “As I live,” declares the Master YHWH, “because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food for every beast of the field, from not having a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock,

Ezekiel 34:9:  Therefore, O shepherds, hear the Word of YHWH!

Ezekiel 34:10:  Thus said the Master YHWH, “See, I am against the shepherds, and shall require My flock at their hand, and shall make them cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more. And I shall deliver My flock from their mouths, and they shall no longer be food for them.

This huge focus on shepherds is because we are all Israel, a firstborn nation appointed to shepherd all the descendants of Adam to YHWH (Exodus 4:22).

Restoration to the state of Adam before the sin of disobedience

This is the same time as Matthew 13:40-41 when the seed of satan (darnel) is removed from us and the whole Earth. Halleluyah!

Even though satan comes after us, we overcome him because of the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our witnesses (Revelation 12:11). The adversary, satan, is powerless against us because the knowledge of evil will have been removed (which will cleanse our conscience, Hebrews  9:9, 10:14 & 10:22). Our deliverance from the curse of Adam will be complete at this time. Yahushua will fulfill all the requirements for Yom Kippurim at this time.

The adversary no longer has any authority to torment those written in the book (Daniel 12:1 & Exodus 32:32-33). All our sins of ignorance, accident, and deception always went to Azazel once a year till Yahushua’s atonement, which was once forever. We can see this in the scapegoat. A clean man takes the goat to Azazel with all the sins of Israel. Yahushua (a clean man) took all the sins to Azazel once forever, bringing all the seeds of Adam out of the kingdom of darkness.

There are a couple of odd verses in Luke 10:18 & 19. They are not contextually related to the surrounding verses, which is almost always to draw attention to what is being said because it is prophetic. The apostles have just returned from being sent to the lost sheep and are excited that the demons are subject to them, and Yahushua says the following.

Luke 10:18: And He said to them, “I saw satan falling out of the heaven as lightning.

Luke 10:19: See, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the enemy’s power, and none at all shall hurt you.”

What Yahushua says here is prophetic. It did not happen when He made this statement. It speaks of the time we read in Revelation 12:7-17 on page 6. We need to know this so we will be confident that the power of YHWH will flow through us.

Another scripture where we can see what happens when the evil that dwells in us is removed is in Jeremiah 31:22-40 as follows.

Jeremiah 31:22: Till when would you turn here and there, O backsliding daughter? For YHWH has created what is new on Earth: a woman encompasses a man!

Jeremiah 31:23: Thus said YHWH of hosts, the Elohim of Yisrael, “Let them once again say this word in the land of Yahudah and in its cities, when I turn back their captivity, ‘YHWH bless you, O home of righteousness, mountain of set-apartness!’

Jeremiah 31:24: And in Yahudah and all its cities, farmers and those who journey with flocks shall dwell together.

Jeremiah 31:25: For I shall fill the weary being, and I shall replenish every grieved being.”

Jeremiah 31:26: At this, I awoke and looked around, and my sleep was sweet to me.

Jeremiah 31:27: “See, the days are coming,” declares YHWH, “that I shall sow the house of Yisrael and the house of Yahudah with the seed of Man and the seed of beast.

Jeremiah 31:28: And it shall be, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict, so I shall watch over them to build and to plant,” declares YHWH.

Complete fulfillment of Yom Kippurim and the removal of generational curses

Jeremiah 31:29: In those days, they shall no longer say, “The fathers ate sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are blunted (the removal of generational curses).

Jeremiah 31:30: But each one shall die for his own crookedness – whoever eats sour grapes, his teeth shall be blunted (Ezekiel. 18:1-2 is fulfilled at this time).

Jeremiah 31:31: “See, the days are coming,” declares YHWH, “when I shall make a renewed covenant with the house of Yisrael and with the house of Yahudah,Footnote: a Hebrews 8:8-12, Hebrews 10:16-17.

Jeremiah 31:32: Not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I strengthened their hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares YHWH. Footnote: b Commonly understood as “take hold of.”

Jeremiah 31:33: “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisrael after those days,” declares YHWH: “I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

Jeremiah 31:34: And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know YHWH,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares YHWH. “For I shall forgive their crookedness and remember their sin no more.”

Jeremiah 31:35: Thus said YHWH, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the laws of the moon and the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, and its waves roar YHWH of hosts is His Name:

Jeremiah 31:36: “If these laws vanish from before Me,” declares YHWH, “then the seed of Yisrael shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever.”

Jeremiah 31:37: Thus said YHWH, “If the heavens above could be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I would also cast off all the seed of Yisrael for all that they have done,” declares YHWH

Jeremiah 31:38: “See, the days are coming,” declares YHWH, “that the city shall be built for YHWH from the Tower of Ḥananel to the Corner Gate.

Jeremiah 31:39: And the measuring line shall again extend straight ahead to the hill Gareb; then it shall turn toward Goah. Jeremiah 31:40: And all the valley of the dead bodies, the ashes, and all the fields as far as the wadi Quidran to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, is to be set apart to YHWH. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever.”

Elohim cannot write His Torah on our hearts as long as there is darkness and death there, and satan’s case had to be resolved before the darkness that dwelt in us could be removed, which is our complete deliverance from sin.

Another witness is in Ezekiel Chapter 36, as follows.

Ezekiel 36:22: Therefore say to the house of Yisrael, Thus said the Master YHWH, I do not do this for your sake, O house of Yisrael, but for My set-apart Name’s sake (His Name’s sake is the One that comes in His Name, Yahushua), which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.

Ezekiel 36:23: And I shall set apart My great Name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. And the nations shall know that I am YHWH, declares the Master YHWH when I am set apart in you before their eyes.

Ezekiel 36:24: And I shall take you from the nations, gather you out of all lands, and bring you into your own land. (read all of Ezekiel Chapter 36 for context and timing).

Ezekiel 36:25: And I shall sprinkle clean water on you (the water of the red heifer which is now Yahushua), and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness (from the presence of the death that was in us) and from all your idols (desires of the flesh, money, fancy cars, sports, etc.) I cleanse you (cleansing the filth from the evil that dwelt in us).

Ezekiel 36:26: And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh,

Ezekiel 36:27: and put My Spirit within you. aAnd I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them. Footnote: see Ezekiel 11:19-20, Ezekiel 37:6-14, Ezekiel 39:29.

Ezekiel 36:28: And you shall dwell in the land I gave to your fathers. And you shall be My people, and I shall be your Elohim.

Ezekiel 36:29: And I shall save you from all your uncleanness (removing the seed of the knowledge of evil). And I shall call for the grain and increase it and bring no scarcity of food upon you.

Ezekiel 36:30: And I shall increase the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields (Deut. Chapter 30) so that you never need again bear the reproach of the scarcity of food among the nations.

Ezekiel 36:31: And you shall remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good. And you shall loathe yourselves in your own eyes, for your crookedness and your abominations.

Ezekiel 36:32: Not for your sake am I acting, declares the Master YHWH, let it be known to you. Be ashamed and blush for your ways, O house of Yisrael!

Ezekiel 36:33: Thus said the Master YHWH, On the day that I cleanse you from all your crookedness, I shall cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruined places shall be rebuilt,

Ezekiel 36:34: and the land that was laid waste tilled instead of being a ruin before the eyes of all who pass by.

Ezekiel 36:35: And they shall say, ‘This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden (Isaiah 51:3). And the wasted, the deserted, and the destroyed cities are now walled and inhabited.’

Ezekiel 36:36: Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, YHWH, have rebuilt the destroyed places and planted what was laid waste. I, YHWH, have spoken it, and I shall do it.

Ezekiel 36:37: Thus said the Master YHWH, Once again I shall let the house of Yisrael inquire of Me to do for them: I shall increase their men like a flock.

Ezekiel 36:38: As a set-apart flock, as the flock at Yerushalayim at her appointed times, so shall the wasted cities be filled with flocks of men. And they shall know that I am YHWH (Jeremiah 31:34).’”

In Jeremiah, we have the Torah written on our hearts. In Ezekiel Chapter 36, we see that this heart is a new heart that is a heart of flesh and not stone. We have to be sprinkled with clean water and cleansed from our uncleanliness caused by the evil seed that was in us, and Yahushua is that clean water that leads to eternal life (John 4:14). We will no longer have an inclination for anything but good. The heart and soul are the part of us where our reasoning resides. A knowledge of evil will no longer influence our reasoning. Our only inclination will be for good. We will be the same as Adam was before the sin. The famous 12th-century rabbinic scholar Moshe ben Nachman, known as Ramban, in his most significant work (his commentary on Torah), says exactly what I am saying. What is extraordinary is that I came to this conclusion before I knew he had come to the same conclusion. The concept of the Yetzer ha ra (evil inclination) being removed at the fulfillment of the above scriptures is also attested to in the Talmud

Summary

To summarize what has been said, in the future, at the wheat harvest (Shavuot), we will enter the final three and one-half moedim that was at the end of what Daniel saw, quoted as follows.

Dan. 12:1 Now at that time, Mikael shall stand up, the great head who is standing over the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as never was since there was a nation until that time. And at that time, your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book,

Dan. 12:2 and many of those who sleep in the dust of the Earth wake up, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches, everlasting abhorrence (a resurrection of those that have not made a choice apart from deception).

Joel Chapter 3 refers to this time as the valley of Yehoshaphat and the valley of Decision. It is also when we will be offered the mark of the beast.

Revelation 14:9: And a third messenger followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark upon his forehead or upon his hand,

Revelation 14:10: he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of Elohim, which is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath. And he shall be tortured with fire and sulfur before the set-apart messengers and the Lamb.

Revelation 14:11: And the smoke of their torture goes up forever and ever. And they have no rest day or night, those worshipping the beast and his image, also if anyone receives the mark of his name.”

This is a time when everyone will have to make a decision. The awesome thing is that we will be making that decision in the same condition Adam was in when he made his decision. The Spirit of Elohim will dwell in us, and the seed of satan will be gone. This is the circumcision of the heart. Matthew 13:41, when the darnel is removed from humanity, is at the wheat harvest, Shavuot. All the other scriptures above are at or around Shavuot to Sukkot in the year that Yahushua returns to punish and destroy evil. This begins the process of bringing Israel back to the promised land.

This three-and-one-half moedim, which Daniel was told would be the greater end of all he saw, does not mean there is not a three-and-one-half-year period, but that the three-and-one-half moedim would follow the three-and-one-half years and would be the end of all that Daniel had seen.

Everyone dies for their own sin, and they shall know that I am YHWH.

Another phrase that connects much scripture is that every Man will die for his own sin. Read all of Ezekiel Chapter 18, which is about every Man dying for his own sin and generational curses being removed. Still, we cannot tell when this will happen until this statement (“the fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children’s teeth are blunted),” Ezekiel 18:2) is repeated in Jeremiah 31:29-30. Generational curses are removed right before the Torah is written on our hearts.

This statement that every Man shall die for his own sin goes back to Moshe and YHWH in Exodus Chapter 32.

Exodus 32:31: And Moshe returned to YHWH and said, “Oh, these people have sinned a great sin, and have made for themselves a mighty one of gold!

Exodus 32:32: And now, if You would forgive their sin, but if not, please blot me out of Your book which You have written.”

Exodus 32:33: And YHWH said to Moshe, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I blot him out of My book. Notice this is the same book spoken of in Daniel 12:1.

Exodus 32:34: And now, go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. See, My Messenger goes before you. And in the day of My visitation, I shall visit their sin upon them (Isaiah 26:21).”

Exodus 32:35: And YHWH plagued the people because they made the calf, which Aharon made.

This day of visitation is just after we have passed through the Valley of Decision, and every Man has chosen to have YHWH as his King or a man as his King  (Joel 3:11-16 & Revelation 14:9-12).

Another thing that ties the removal of the evil seed of satan in us is the statement in Jeremiah 31:34 as follows.

Jeremiah 31:34: “And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know YHWH,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares YHWH. “For I shall forgive their crookedness and remember their sin no more.”

Romans 11:25: For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that hardening in part has come over Yisrael until the completeness of the nations has come in (Genesis 48:19).

Rom 11:26:  And so all Yisrael shall be saved, as it has been written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Tsiyon, and He shall turn away wickedness from Yaaqoḇ,

Rom 11:27:  and this is My covenant with them when I take away their sin.”

Revelation 12:10:  And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down.

The following verses about knowing YHWH are tied to the above verses about our deliverance in Jeremiah 31:34, which contains knowing who He is and taking away Israel’s sins (deliverance).

Ezekiel 36:11:And I shall increase upon you, Man and beast, and they shall increase and bear young. And I shall make you inhabited as of old and do better for you than at your beginnings. And you shall know that I am YHWH.

Ezekiel 36:38:As a set-apart flock, as the flock at Yerushalayim at her appointed times, so shall the wasted cities be filled with flocks of men. And they shall know that I am YHWH.

Ezekiel 38:23:And I shall exalt Myself and set Myself apart, and I shall be known in the eyes of many nations. And they shall know that I am YHWH.

Isaiah 49:23:  “And sovereigns shall be your foster fathers, and their sovereignesses your nursing mothers. They bow down to you with their faces to the earth and lick up the dust of your feet. And you shall know that I am YHWH. Those who wait for Me shall not be ashamed.”

This statement is made 39 times in Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel, but literary parallels can bring these four together. Jeremiah Chapter 31 is about the restoration of Israel to the land, the removal of generational curses, and the Torah written on our hearts. Ezekiel Chapter 36 is about restoring the promised land and YHWH’s jealousy and burning wrath against all the nations, particularly Edom (Obadiah 1 is Esaw), and when we are cleansed. YHWH begins cleansing Israel with water, cleans our filthiness, and then brings all of Israel back to the land. Ezekiel Chapters 38 & 39 are about the destruction of Gog, prince of Magog and his band, then bringing all Israel back to the land. A worldwide earthquake, flooding rain, and great hail cause this destruction. The destruction of false prophets and their whitewashed walls shown in Ezekiel Chapter 13, which are their doctrines, is by flooding rain and great hail. Babel is destroyed by flooding rain and 100-pound hail stones. All these happen at or near Shavuot some year (the wheat harvest). The key to tying all these together is the wheat and the darnel parable in Matthew Chapter 13 at Shavuot.

Everyone who chooses YHWH as their King again will be like the Adam in Genesis 1:26, created in Elohim’s image and likeness. They will go out through the Earth and bring all the seed of Adam to YHWH that will come. Amen! This is why the seed parables are crucial for understanding all the parables.

In First Enoch, it is said that Man was not created to know evil. Our track record shows that we could not bring forth deliverance on Earth (Isaiah 26:18). The Earth is nearly destroyed, and the food in stores is 95% poison. We just experienced the whole world being locked down, with all rights taken away. The powers of evil exalt themselves, and it seems there is no way to stop them.

Isa. 26:18 says, “We have not accomplished deliverance in the earth, but Yahushua will when the day of YHWH comes (Revelation 12:7-10 & Romans. 11:25-27).

Revelation 12:10: And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohimb and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down.

Revelation 11:15: And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

Read these verses:  Revelation 12:10, Psalms 2:8 & 22:28, Daniel 2:44 & 7:13-14, Obadiah 1:15-21, Haggai 2:22, Zechariah 14:9

As said earlier, we will be delivered entirely from our Father Adam’s generational curse at this time.

Ezekiel Chapter 18, mentioned above, speaks of generational curses being removed. Then, it continues to say that everyone dies for his deliberate sin or does not die because of his righteousness. Please read this chapter because it explains who dies, who lives, and why. Again, remember that Jeremiah 31: 29-30 places this event in the timeline of removing all sin from the righteous seed of Adam.

Ezekiel Chapter 13, mentioned on page 15, is about removing false prophets and their doctrinal whitewashed walls. Next, in chapter 14, this statement is made four times. At this time, Noah, Daniel, and Job would deliver only themselves, not sons and daughters (my paraphrase). This seems harsh, but it is when we are all back in the same state Adam was in before his sin. In that state, no one can deliver anyone else except Yahushua. Everyone will have to decide for themselves, but it will be made with full knowledge, just as it was with Adam. No one can be forced to make their decision, nor can it be made in ignorance or by accident. As said above, everyone’s decision will be made with complete knowledge of what they are doing.

Israel chose to have a man be their King over YHWH, who was their King. From that point on, there has been chaos. YHWH had promised to protect Israel on all sides and prosper them in every way, yet they wanted a human king. In Genesis Chapter 6, the angels leave their estate to descend to women. They choose the flesh over their spiritual estate, which is eternal. Knowing the above, it is easy to see that we will choose the flesh (a mortal estate), or the Spirit (an eternal estate), a human for our king, or YHWH as our King again. The incorrect choice will be accepting a human as your savior and redeemer. The correct choice will be acknowledging YHWH (Yahushua coming in His Father’s name) as your redeemer and King. The fleshly offer would have to be exceptionally good if it could fool the elect, if that were possible.

A list of generational curse examples

Below is a list of generational curses, which show the terrible destruction that occurs when we knowingly disobey YHWH.

Adam knowingly disobeyed YHWH by descending to a forbidden thing and lost his first born and second born: the first to exile and the second to death.

Judah descended to a cursed people (Canaan) and took a wife. He had three sons and lost his first born and second born.

Aaron descended to fire and offerings before an idol and lost his first born and second born (in both cases, the strange, unprescribed fire was involved).

Elimelek, Ruth’s father-in-law, descended to a forbidden people to the 10th generation (Moab) and lost his firstborn and second born.

King David descended to a forbidden woman (Bathsheba) and lost four sons because when the prophet Nathan told him about the poor Man with the one sheep whom the rich Man took, King David said, “Make the rich Man pay back the poor Man four times more.

These are just five quick witnesses to generational curses and their consequences before our redemption. How wonderful it will be when they are entirely removed. Amen, Amen.

The reason for these losses is there is no offering for knowingly committing a sin unto death.

It appears these losses are the price you pay for committing a sin to death, but now we have the incredible redemption of our kinsman redeemer Yahushua, who bore the punishment of our sins.

The articles that will follow soon provide much more detail. This is an attempt to give you time to absorb some concepts that will be expanded on later.

Shalom
